Ottawa, CANADA November 10 2014: EION Wireless, a leader in Broadband Wireless and IP Networking has appointed Hassan Abdelghany, Vice President of Sales for AsiaPac region. This role expands Hassan's territory from Middle East, Africa and AsiaPac. In this new role, Hassan will be reaching out to existing customers and appointing new channels to strengthen and grow EION's current market share in the region.
EION recently participated in CommunicAsia 2014 in Singapore show casing our portfolio of new products.
In the last few years, EION has gained momentum in ASEAN countries with solid wins in Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia. "AsiaPac region needs a strong leader like Hassan who understands the wireless business and also has hands on experience in delivering medium to large scale network solution to customers", says Kalai Kalaichelvan, CEO of EION Wireless. He adds, "Pairing him with Dr. Waleed Hosny, EION's International Field Engineer is a dynamic combo that our existing and new customers are going to see in their region as a refreshing new relationship".
In October and November 2014, EION participated in two anchor conferences GITEX 2014 Dubai, UAE and SecureTech 2014 in Ottawa, Canada. In GITEX, EION announced a series of products such as Street WiFi, Tunnel WiFi and Point-to-Point StarPlus. In SecureTech, EION announced solutions for border security, interoperable radio systems, aviation security and public safety. These new products and solution offering will be launched in AsiaPac region by this sales leadership.
The region also continues to leverage EION Telecom in Bangalore, Mumbai and Gurgeon in India which has the Center of Excellence for RF repair, RF Planning and global technical support center.
